National Yacht Club

  There was a good mix of skippers and crew all with the same objective which was too get themselves organised / crewed up for the sailing season. I think it is fair to say that no one went home without being sorted, the non members in particular will have gone away with a very positive impression of the national yacht club, where once again our staff looked after us really well with welcome drinks and finger food. Alan welcomed everyone to the club and set out the high level objectives of the evening. Olivier then presented the main features of CrewZone, and how to work it to your advantage. Each skipper then spoke about his or her specific needs, and potential crew were soon discussing the various options, and in most cases, actually making firm sailing arrangements for the season ahead. All in all, this was a highly successful venture, bringing more people into sailing and ultimately, hopefully, into the club, while at the same time getting boats out sailing.
