National Yacht Club – Toppers
NYC Topper sailors had a very successful event at the Strangford Lough Traveler last Sunday.
The event was won by Nicole Hemeryck (NYC), with 5 of our sailors in the top ten of a very competitive fleet (70 boats). Daniel Raymond finished 3rd, Heather Spain 1st U14 & 6th overall, Evie Byrne 2nd U14 & 9th. Niamh Doran (Courtown/NYC) was 1st Lady & 8th overall.
Our sailors also supported the team racing charity event on the Saturday fielding two teams and competing well.
There are two more Topper away events this season:
- RCYC hosting the Munsters on Sat 21, Sun 22 Sept
- The final traveler on Sunday Oct 6th in Skerries.
