With our recent NYC club members and Laser sailors Annalise Murphy’s and Finn Lynch’s fantastic wins in the recent World & European Laser Championships held in NYC fresh in the memory, it is a great time to move into the Laser class or improve your skills. Winter Coaching for all Junior dinghy classes will not commence until after Lift-In in October, so we thought it would be a good time for some Autumn coaching for current laser sailors and those moving into the Laser class from other boats (such as Toppers and Oppies). The Junior September series is already underway and the Laser Frostbites (now open to Junior Sailors when it commences in November) providing ample opportunity for competitive sailing, we have arranged some Laser Coaching over the next few weekends. The aim is to provide basic skills to those new to the class and more advanced coaching for those already experienced in Laser sailing. Depending on sailor numbers we will provide 1 or 2 Laser coaches who will probably also be coaching during the Winter training. I would be grateful if you could let me know if your sailor(s) are interested in Autumn Laser Coaching before Lift-In so we can organise coaches, ribs etc. We hope to commence coaching this weekend depending on interest.
