Tom Cunliffe Talk

Bray Sailing Club have arranged for Tom Cunliffe of Yachting Monthly and ‘The Boats that Built Britain’ to give an evening talk in Bray this Friday 15th March at 8pm. Tom Cunliffe

Having been a Mate on a coasting merchant ship and run yachts for gentlemen, Tom has operated charter boats and delivered all sorts of vessels. He has raced a quite high levels and has been teaching sailing intermittently for thirty plus years. He became a Yachtmaster Examiner in 1978. Classics have been his passion for forty years and has owned wooden gaffers. Along with his wife Ros they have sailed them all over the Atlantic, from southern Brazil to Iceland and from the Caribbean to Russia with a number of trips to the US and Canada thrown in.
