The NYC was delighted to host the 2015 Irish International Moth Class National Championship on Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September. 10 Moths took part in the 3rd edition of their “unofficial” Irish National Championships and provided a great show to look at from the East Pier on Saturday. Having faired badly with lobster pots in Scottman’s bay, Race Officer Con Murphy decided to head towards the shallower and more protected waters of Sandymount on Sunday… Congratulations to our podium: Alistair Kissane (1st), Annalise Murphy (2nd) and Neil O’Toole (3rd).   Labelled “Foil Story 3”, this 3rd Edition of the Non-Official Irish Moths Nationals was also the stage of the “Moth’Scars” ceremony where the nominees for worth crash, worth damage to the boat etc categories are….and the Moth’Scar goes to….
