Renowned Irish singer Aoife Doyle has been singing all of her life. As a teenager she discovered Ella Fitzgerald and ‘scat’ singing which led to time spent studying and honing her craft at Newpark Music Centre. Since then she has been performing professionally.
Her band, which features Myles Drennan on piano, bassist Andrew Csibi and drummer Dominic Mullan, will play songs from writers such as Bob Dylan and Robbie Robertson. Arranged in their own way with an emphasis on interpretation and improvisation.
