We can assure you that if you come to Dun Laoghaire during the Youth Worlds, especially over the weekend of Friday 13th – Sunday 15th July, you won’t be disappointed. On the Friday there are ‘Try Sailing’ sessions at very reasonable rates and the Four Star Pizza Festival Outlet (which will be open across the weekend) for some ‘nosh’ and plus you can savour the atmosphere of the Youth Worlds Opening Ceremony. Saturday’s programme will be packed with Jazz Performances, Street Entertainers, a performance by a street bike freestyle rider, a market, and opportunities to take a power boat trip. On Sunday as a special treat you and your children can take park in a Nautical Treasure Hunt. A Festival Ceili in the Harbour Plaza might also take your fancy or a stroll through the Festival Market on the Metals and the Co Co Market in the People’s Park. And all this is on top of the opportunity to see young sailing stars and future Olympians from 63 nations battle it out on Dublin Bay during the biggest international sailing event that Ireland has ever hosted!
