Marine Electrics 10 weeks Basic Course – Start September 27th

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedintumblrmailmarine electricsWould you know what to do if…? your GPS fails, your navigation lights and instruments stop working, you cannot start your engine because of battery problems, your VHF antenna cable comes adrift… If the answer to any of the above is NO, the Marine Electrics 10 week Basic Electrical course will give you or your crew the knowledge and the confidence to tackle electrical repairs on the boat. This course is aimed at the complete novice, no previous electrical experience is necessary. The “Hands On” course with the student includes battery banks and charging systems, alternator and starter motor troubleshooting, use of multimeter, basic electrical circuits, instrument circuits, VHF antenna connections, reading and understanding wiring diagrams. The RNLI have reported an increase in callouts to boats with electrical problems, make sure YOU don’t become one of the statistics.
