Dun Laoghaire’s first Boat Jumble will take place on Sunday 28th March 2010 on the Carlisle Pier in Dun Laoghaire Harbour 11am to 4pm. This will be a great attraction for sailing, boating and water sports enthusiasts seeking value.

There will be trade stands and also two sections provided for non trade participation and ideal for clubs & classes.

1.  “car boot” sale area for boating kit & gear.
2. Used boat for sale (under 20’)

This unique selling format presents an opportunity for individuals or clubs to sell their surplus boating and water sports gear and equipment in a “car boot” format. Club & class members might gather gear from their friends and offer for sale to support a fund raising programme. For each car two spaces will be allocated with the extra space for displaying the items offered for sale on the ground or on a table and space to accommodate your deck chair ! It is suggested that two people might combine their items for sale with one car so as to allow one person to take a break and enjoy the jumble. Two entry tickets will be provided for each car booked in for the jumble. The cost of booking in a car is €30. Space will also be allocated for used boats and dinghies offered for sale. This presents the ideal opportunity to get that dinghy out of the garden and sell to a buying public who will be looking for a boat pre season, boat dinghy space €30.
